MORE ABOUT LITTLE STAR SCHOOL CLUB

We are based in New Malden - Surrey and offer a variety of services such as school pick ups from Christ Church Infants and Junior School, Corpus Christi Primary School and Burlington Infants and Junior School. We are an after school activity club where children have the opportunity to do their homework and explore our Academics which includes art, craft, lego, science and environmental activities and choir.

Art Class

Our Art Class provides a fun packed, stimulating, yet informal setting for your child to really enjoy the process and results of creating art. Designed to give your child the chance to explore a wide range of materials and media, the class covers painting, drawing and collage. All activities are well planned to increase visual awareness and above all to stimulate enthusiasm and enjoyment.

Lego Club

The sessions focus on freestyle and collaborative lego building projects, designed to encourage interactions between the children and enable them to come up with their own solutions. Children work as a team, communicating together to build a shared project each week. Our lego club also supports the development of fine motor skills, creativity, perseverance, management of frustrations and task development without a fear of failing.

 Science & Environmental Activitie

Science is the study of the world around us. Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Environmental Activities are just a few examples of the sciences that surround us every day. For children of all ages, the benefits are enormous. Being involved in science projects helps develop a child's resourcefulness, particularly their skills at goal-setting, planning, and problem-solving. It also nurtures intellectual curiosity, helping children acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world. Children can experiment and learn trough play and curiosity.

Drama Class

Child development is at the heart of everything we do, so our weekly drama classes will boost your child's confidence, improve their concentration and give them a creative outlet to make friends and have fun.

- Drama builds confidence and encourages children to cooperate

- Drama helps concentration and develop language and      communication skill

- Drama assists physical development and develops emotional intelligence

- Drama develops creativity and nurtures friendship

Art & Craft Class

Our Art & Craft class is designed to give your child the chance to explore a wide range of materials; such as clay, and access to recycled materials. They will also have the opportunity to create collages and master the art of origami. Children can also learn fundamental drawing, painting, clay sculpting techniques and many more ways to create. All activities are well planned to increase visual awareness and above all to stimulate enthusiasm and enjoyment.

Children will have access to a small outdoor space where they'll have the opportunity to play.

When attending, children will be offered fruit on arrival and healthy tea after the activity.
